In this episode we offer up our reviews on the Netflix movie, American Son directed by Kenny Leon and starring Kerry Washington, Steven Pasquale, Jeremy Jordan and Eugene Lee. We briefly talk about NOT talking about New Year's Resolutions before we plunge into our review of American Son. This week we break away from our usual format and put on our “theater people hat" and dissect the American Son movie.
This movie has NUMEROUS relevant themes and topics that ultimately boils down to race. We also share our thoughts ranging from why they adapted this play to film, who should see this movie, and would we recommend it.
We skipped getting mad at the internet this week and go straight into our Happy Place!! Hint This week has fashion and sci-fi icons!!!
