We Doth Protest

Attempted Coups, Protests, and You

In this episode we talk about the events at the US Capitol on January 6th, what we consider a protest, and where we belong in protest movements.

In this episode you’ll hear the Unicorns discuss: ·      The January 6th Storming of The Capital o   What will we call this "event" in the future? ·      What’s the difference between a protest and a riot/mob? ·      How does critical thinking and mindfulness play a part in protesting? ·      Do you have to protest to be a part of “the cause”? Also, we reintroduce an old segment called, “Dani and Dameca Get Mad at The Internet” …but really, we’re mad at the world. This week we focus our anger on the emphasis of the outfits worn by the women during the 2021 Inauguration. Sexism and fashion? What a pair! As always, we end in our Happy Place hint- You should just really go to Japan.
