What are You? (Revisited)

Still Our Favorite Question

In this episode we revisit our topic from episode 0 and look to the future of Biracial Unicorns.

This week we are “traveling back in time.” As the first month of 2020 comes to an end, we want to look back at our first episode and reflect on our podcast journey. In episode 0, we ask ourselves our “favorite questions” as a mixed person, and the “What Are You” question? During our podcast we both have made new discoveries about ourselves and our identity as mixed women of color. We recognize we both still have some discomfort processing our “favorite” question but the input from the Biracial Unicorn community has been encouraging.

Throughout the episode we draw back on guests we have had and the camaraderie we have felt with other mixed-race people. We also share some of our challenges we’ve had over the past year and also what we are looking forward to in the next season of our show.

This week’s Getting Mad at The Internet hits a little close to home. We get mad at someone near and dear to our hearts. We end our show with our HAPPY PLACE Hint , this week will have you reaching for your favorite YA novel AND see your favorite memes in a new light.
